Richard Sandy
Richard Sandy moved to Ocala in 1980, continuing his career in Banking. In 1996, along with a former partner,they established Abacus Accounting & Tax Service, Inc. In order to better integrate his client's investment needs, as they related to their tax and accounting issues, he became a fully licensed securities professional in 1997 and formed a sister company, Sandy Wealth Management, Inc.
Continuing their synergistic approach to meeting their client's financial needs, in 2016 he and Lindsey became Medicare certified. This made them able to offer Medicare Supplement Insurance and Advantage programs.
Richard enjoys bringing Max, his big Maine Coon to the office, where he assumes the roll of principle client greeter. When not working, he enjoys spending time on the water and boating.
